Welcome Care & Support

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use our website. This statement explains our approach to accessibility and how to get help.

Our commitment

Welcome Care & Support is committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 and to providing an inclusive experience for all users. We aim to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where practicable.

What we do

We design and build our site with accessibility in mind. This includes: clear structure and headings, sufficient colour contrast, keyboard-accessible navigation, a skip link to main content, focus indicators on interactive elements, and descriptive link text and form labels. We test our pages with common browsers and assistive technologies.

Known limitations

Some third-party content (for example embedded maps) may not be fully under our control. We select and configure such content with accessibility in mind where possible. If you encounter a part of the site that is hard to use, please tell us so we can improve.

Feedback and contact

If you find something on our site that is not accessible to you, or you need information in a different format (for example large print or a different language), please contact us. We will do our best to help and will respond within a reasonable time.

Enforcement

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission for further information.
